About Me

Hey, thanks for stopping by! 👋

I am a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University, advised by Prof. Raman Arora. My research interests lie primarily at the intersection of machine learning and optimization, both in practice and theory. Previously, I worked on developing faster tensor methods for non-convex minimax optimization, especially in training GANs. Currently, I am working on understanding and improving robustness in machine learning models.

Before I came to JHU, I obtained my master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Ju Sun. Prior to that, I was an undergrad in the Electronic Information School at Wuhan University.
